Wild Trout Waters
These are my personal favorite, and what I pride my self in. These are waters that hold wild trout that have reproduced in the streams. Not stocked by the DNR. Most public streams are over fished so much they have to be stocked by the DNR to maintain a healthy population. So these waters can be hard to find, or even get too. A wild trout can be harder to fish than a stocked trout. They are more skittish with good reason, but the fight of a wild trout is a lot more intense than a stocked trout. Not to mention the serenity, and solitude of being in the outdoors of the southern Appalachian Mountains. You can expect to catch 8-20+ inch Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout in these waters.
